A Different Kind of Tired

Mollie Singer posted this on facebook...

"Tired. mentally, emotionally, and physically tired of this "thinking" disease. 24/7/365, year after year after year, thinking about finger pokes, blood sugar numbers, shots, and tired of thinking about diabetes.Tired of having to wake up and having to test, tired of worrying about low blood sugar in the middle of a performance. Tired of having to stop exercising because my blood sugar is too low or too high. Tired of having to stop studying for a test because of low or too high blood sugar. Tired of being frustrated. Tired of worrying about complications" - Mollie Singer

I couldn't agree more.

Pump Fashion

This topic has been posted time and time again. However, I still do not have a solution...

Today, I am wearing a dress. I like wearing dresses, but in the three years I have had a pump, I wear dresses less and less. Reason being, I have to reach in or up my dress in order to bolus! I like to snack, so I spend a lot of time with my hand up my dress. :)

Any suggestions?

Tired all of the time? I am...

Lately, I have been sleeping a lot. I can't make myself wake up in the morning, for example, this morning I snoozed my alarm for an hour and fifteen minutes. Seriously.

I think I need a vacation.

Happy Birthday!

Today I am 25. I remember my first birthday after diagnosis, I called my endo and asked if I could eat cake and ice cream, I am sure she thought I was nuts. I still didn't eat it. I probably won't eat it today...that doesn't mean I won't m & m's tomorrow and brownies next week however.

Happy Easter everyone...
